Chief Investment Officer

Anthony Nahum is the founding partner of LTAS Capital. He is the Chief Investment Officer and Head of Risk Management.

Anthony has worked in the financial industry for over 30 years. He was a Managing Director within the Global Structured Credit Products division of Citigroup (having joined its predecessor firm Salomon Brothers as a credit trader in 1994) and afterwards was a Managing Director in the Fixed Income Emerging Markets divisions of Lehman Brothers and later Nomura.

He was head of various trading and structuring desks covering a broad range of credit, interest rate and foreign exchange derivatives and structured products, across both developed and emerging markets.

Anthony graduated from the University of Oxford (Trinity College) in 1991 with a BA in Physics.

Portfolio Manager

Alexey Yu has worked in the financial industry for more than 25 years. Prior to joining LTAS Capital in 2020, he worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in London for more than a decade where he was a Director and Senior Trader within FICC Emerging Markets. During his time there he was responsible for trading EM external debt from the EMEA region, focusing on both sovereign and corporate credit risk.

Before joining Merrill Lynch, Alexey was a senior credit trader at UniCredit CIB in Moscow where he was responsible for trading corporate bonds from Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan. He started his career as a credit analyst covering Russian and CIS corporates.

Alexey holds a Doctorate in International Economics from the Finance University under the Government of Russian Federation and is a CFA Charterholder.
